Rosaceae is the family name for the genus Rosa. Most rose species are native to Asia, Europe, North America and Africa. There are over 300 species with thousands of varieties. Pronounced “row”, “SAY”, “cee”, and a short “a”. Rosaceae is the fourth release in the Floral Mandala Collection from Glendon Place.

A total of 13 colors of Dinky-Dyes hand-dyed silk floss, 1 color of Mill Hill Beads, and 1 color of Sullivans floss were used in the model.

NOTE: Due to the number of Dinky-Dyes Silk Floss colors required for this design, a cross chart is provided Sullivans/DMC/and Anchor comparable colors to make stitching this design more affordable. However, it is very important to keep in mind that Dinky-Dyes Silks are variegated in color, some more than others. Although color comparables are provided in other floss lines (Sullivans/DMC and Anchor), these are “best match” alternatives.
