Fishers of Men / Matthew 4:19 is a Bible verse based pattern. The design in the center of this pattern was influenced by an Italian needlework chart from the early 1900s. Gift ideas include: father, brother, etc. (birthday, Father's Day, etc... especially if they like to fish); Pastor; Missionary, Teacher. The Bible verse is: And He saith unto them, follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men. Matthew 4:19 (KJV). The chart is done in colored squares with symbols, for easier stitching. This design uses whole stitches, back stitching, and French knots.
